Challenge #15 – Skip the Buts


Mr Mind often thinks his way of doing things is THE right one.

When he faces new perspectives which are not in alignment with what he believes, he is rather quick to experience resistance and come up with all sorts of why it doesn’t work.

Yes, but…

How often do you hear others and yourself say this phrase? On purpose or not, this causes an opposition to other people’s perspectives and interestingly enough often your very own.

Take a week and just watch out for this phrase. Whenever you catch yourself, consider the possibility of taking on the new perspective and just try it out. Explore it. Play with it in different contexts. This trains Mr Mind in being open and viewing the world through new glasses.

A new view leads to different ways of doing things. This in turn creates new outcomes and spices up your life in many ways. Try it out!
